Wind waker far over Twilight princess for me, the graphics were never a problem on the Wind waker, and the side quests on twilight princess are just collecting things, Twilight princess may have lots of moves, but they make the battle so much easier then they already were. (which, by the way, were very easy) The Windwaker was better in every aspect and was a brilliant game, Nintendo's best.

And that is why Nintendo WII has so many rythem/party games in their collection as most of the serious games are done by third party developers and they are ports. That's right P-O-R-T-S.

Nothing like Windwaker!

It's because Nintendo decided instead of doing nothing but fight they are going to go simple and just make it so grandma can play video-games and they probably replaced the development staff.

Forget the older video- game fans even though WII helped them in the past.

Get it? Wii *We* helped them? http://www.smileyhut.com/laughing/giggle.gif...................never mind. -_-

Wow, ok so first of all I wanna thank everyone here for sharing their thoughts and I would like to add mine too. To start off let me say that I own (and therefore have played) all the Zelda games in the series except for the DS ones and I must say that they do not get better with every generations; only different (they are all brilliant!). As for WW and TP...

WW - This game offered what seems to be a small main quest, but as I have played through it numerous times, I realized that the flow it has makes it look short, yet it is actually pretty long. The graphics were totally new to the eye of a TLoZ fan, and it took me a while to adapt; I liked how Link had many different expressions when interacting with sorroundings. I loved the dungeons, they were all quite varied, and I enjoyed the whole co-op thing that went on for three of them. Yes, the triforce hunt might have looked annoying, but if you contrast the idea to the game's story it all really makes sense and I personally think it was epic in a way. As for the battle system, I thought it was a little too simple. The whole parry moves where pretty flashy since they changed according to the enemy you were facing; that I really liked, but I mean, it was still just "press 'A' when it flashes" I still loved the idea since it was innovative and never seen before. The monsters were commonly repeated throughout, but they had more fighting skills such as blocing. I didn't enjoy the final boss fight against Ganondorf; he was just a tough darknut (just like in TP). Again, this was the first time where you were required to interact with your sorroundings in boss fights, also later included in TP. The sidequests overall were really long and took hours to complete which I liked, since it made me really make an effort, but they were horribly tedious. And OMFG the Nintendo Gallery: I COULD NOT STAND THAT THING (I finally never finished it). That was by far the worst experience ever in sidequest-videogaming history. I mean, the one in MM was tedious and repetitive but this one was just ridiculous. Overall though, I really enjoyed (and still do enjoy) playing this game; especially collecting heart pieces which is still epic in every TLoZ game (except #2, since there were only 4 extra heart containers) and I would (and will) play this again because it never gets boring.

TP - This game was AWEmazing, not kidding. The storyline was really long and had its twists and evolutions to it. I actually liked the fact that you came back with a non-fairy helper (in my opinion Navi was annoying as hell) which evolved both emotionally and phyically as the game progressed. The graphics I really liked (especially Link's outfit; it was extremely detailed). I also liked the lighting work, with lots of shadows which cast a rather dark aura upon this game. As mentioned above thought, characters usually lack emotional responses to situations (and I really hated it how Link always had that stupid smile on his face in cutscenes). As for fighting in TP, it was just epic. Finding new moves and using them in battle was just unique. I didn't quite like that there was no actual button for wielding the shield; this lowered the battle intesity a bit as well as the missing parry, which was made up with the hidden moves, but didn't quite fill that missing counterattack space. Boss fights were unexplicably easy yet epic because of the animations and action displays (such as the sea serpent on the 3rd dungeon). This game felt a bit like a remake because of the dungeons though (1st woods, 2nd volcano, 3rd aquatic, etc.) Also, I would like to argue on the comment of PlusDrew on the necessity of rupees in this game against WW. In WW they were actually required to decipher charts, therefore including a sidequest onto the main quest. In TP though, rupees are pretty much useless (and the Magic Armor really sucks if you ask me, totally not worth the thousands you have to pay for it). Anyhow, TP was an amazing game which had an extensive quest yet the replay value wasn't that great.

And those were my reviews, which weren't quite full, but I was tired so that's that, I actually had a lot more to say but it might be a bit too much. Thanks for putting up this thread again!

I played and loved both of these games..

However i did like Wind Waker but the only problem is that i couldnt really engage in the story properly, as it was cartoon, i mean i couldnt really take it seriously, if you get me??
However i could relly feel and get involved in Twilight princess, especially the story line, which was VERY gripping..

I dont really know how to explain it further but i could just get involed and feel i was actually there while playing Twilight Princess..

Also i loved Twilight Princess's storyline, it was very gripping and actually had me feeling for the characters, Ilia, Colin, Midna, Zelda ect..While in Wind waker i felt like i was only playing to defeat Gannondorf..

Also the endings, i actually LOVE how Twilight Princess ends! Its so sad and unexpected that it makes me want to play it again JUST to see the ending...And the music, i love the ending music to it aswell! But to me Wind Waker doesnt provide that...

This is just my personal opinion however...
